Muzium & Kota Lukut, Port Dickson

By Sarah.

Running out of ideas on what to do at Port Dickson? Don't fret, there are a lot of places to go! Since we have been staying at Port Dickson lots of times, (like. almost. every.school.break). we've been exploring things that we can do besides going to the beach and the pool.

Like this one time, where we randomly follow the signboard to Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan

Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan
Apparently, no cars are allowed to enter, so you have to hike up to the top. A long hike!! at least to the internet generation that never exercise (points to self). My slipper even broke?! True story.

Tip# Bring shoes if you plan to go here! (obviously)

Muzium Lukut
So recently when we went to Port Dickson, on the way back to Klang, we saw a signboard to Muzium and Kota Lukut. (before Shell petrol station)

The signboard directions were pretty clear to Muzium Lukut, but not for the 'kota' Kota Lukut. It is further inside the housing area and by the look of it, it is closed/ deserted.

Free admission

Inside the museum

I find this funny.....  guess this is what people do before the internet :p

Nothing much, really. It reminds me of Muzium Kraftangan Kelantan. but without the entrance fee.

Outside the museum

Ever wanted to climb the Hollywood sign? Now you (kinda) can! with stairs lagi.hehh

These are some of the pictures i took. There are many other replicas being displayed around the area.
All in all, it was a nice 'pit stop'. They have surau, pondok-pondok and toilets, great for RnR. A nice place to take pictures too.
